Meet Lauren!
Lauren Hargrove (She/Her) founded Altar of Acceptance out of a desire to do something that makes a difference in the world. When she and her husband started planning their wedding, it became evident that there were almost no resources for people who wanted a ceremony that reflected them more than it reflected tradition. She and her husband were left to create a wedding day all on their own, and after a great deal of work they ended up with something that felt perfectly and authentically THEM. That experience of a safe and inclusive space to express and celebrate your love is one that not everyone gets, but it is something everyone deserves. Lauren’s vision is to give that experience to as many humans as possible.
